Once She Dries

an experimental opera and multimedia installation about coral reefs and climate change

Once She Dries blends sculpture, video projections, and sound to tell a story of coral reefs and climate change. The piece unfolds as a looped recording, featuring an original score and video projections that cycle every half hour. Created by: Meagan Woods (concept/story), Nancy Cohen (installations), Xinyue Liu (video projections), Casper Leerink (piano + sound engineering), Kourosh Ghamsari-Esfahani (violin + sound editing), and Amanda Sum (vocals).

Once She Dries is currently on display at NTCRI in Nantou, Taiwain as part of the International Biennial for Paper and Fiber Art Earth Speak: giving voice to paper.
